Dave Robjohns Congratulations to Hazel and Matt on both securing instant promotions back to the top division! Hazel takes the D2 title for the first time (admittedly, from 1 attempt), losing just two in the process. James just misses out on promotion in 3rd (something that would change in S18 with the new rule). Both promotees lost to Stu in their games as part of his 6 game win streak - one to watch next season?!

At the other end, a late scramble of games left James just short of survival, and Gabriel unfortunately joins him after some tight games falling the wrong way. Anthony and Amie both finish one win clear of the drop.

Had Anthony been relegated, both D1 players from last season would've been promoted back, and both D3 players from last season would've been relegated back - D2 club really is a thing!

Thanks all for playing so many games, and best of luck for the next season!
