 | Dave Robjohns Hi all. For a fair few seasons, we've seen that aptoleague is generally played out through a few phases - lots of games in the first few weeks, a quiet period in the middle, and a busy period at the end where lots of players rush to finish their games.

| Dave Robjohns Thanks guys. 43 votes is mega, well more than half the league. Interestingly, the opinion has changed a lot since Season 12, with 81% favouring a shorter season, so Seasons 16 & 17 will now be 1.5 months. We'll see how we're going in late Oct/early Nov to decide whether to keep that change. |
| Dave Robjohns I've had a little check and every division voted to speed up the season, although only two votes were cast in D6. D1&D5 are keenest for 1.5 months and D3 for 1 month, so pretty happy I can call this a general consensus - although apologies to those that aren't suited to this change |
| Dave Robjohns All aptoleague tables appear to be down at the moment, which is fun. It's either a google thing or an apterous thing, as every tournament where I've imported results from an apto page appears to be affected!

Tourney round: AptoLeague: Season 16 Signups
Notes from the organizer: AptoLeague's 16th season will start on 2nd August!
For those unfamiliar with the format, it works as a league system, with promotions and relegations at the end of each 'season' (2 months).
Season 16 will begin on 2nd August, and is set to end on 30th September.
The 73 players involved in Season 15 will automatically be entered into next season unless they tell me otherwise, provided they have played most of their games.
