Tourney round: Eurovision Song Contest 2022: Sign-Ups
Notes from the organizer: The 2021 tournament went well, and since the local elections (vote for me if you live in Greenhill, Harrow!) are nearly over, let's run this one again.
This tournament has a quirky scoring system, which is the selling point: it's a 9-round round robin, but you award points to the highest scorers against you. The highest scorer against you will get 12 points from you, then 10 points for the second-highest scorer, then 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and finally 1 point for the tenth highest scorer against you.
It's simple enough, really.
SIGN-UPS OPEN FOR ONE WEEK: CLOSING DATE MIDNIGHT 6-7 MAY 2022. More than 30 signer-uppers and we will have semi finals, as per the actual contest. In those, the top 10 will all go through to the final and your games against your fellow qualifiers will be carried forward.
