![]() | Chris Hare Round One complete!
|
![]() | Jason Larsen Yes! |
![]() | Ian Volante Oh no, short deadline! Scored 113, if anyone cares. |
![]() | Fi Thorne I thought we got 3 attempts? I stupidly didn't read the rules & risked a dodgy 7.. would have been ok if I's stuck with my safe 6! |
![]() | Jason Larsen Wait, Chris? Why did we only get one attempt instead of three? I'm very confused! |
![]() | Chris Hare I'm confused too! If someone can cite anywhere I've said you could have three attempts, then I'll gladly give them to you. |
![]() | George Armstrong I think people have confused the attempts and the snowballs... |

![]() | Andy SC Same as what George said. Looked everywhere I could and found no reference to three attempts. |
![]() | Adam Latchford "remember: three strikes and you're out" probably meant people assumed this = three attempts to hit the score (as we had in a previous competition). I didnt read it that way but I assume thats whats happened! |
![]() | Chris Hare Hmm. I'm going to consider myself covered by "full rules can be found in the foyer", I think. Apologies to anyone who feels terribly wronged! |
![]() | Jason Larsen Sorry Chris |
![]() | Fi Thorne Spot on Adam - that's what I assumed. No worries at all though! Good luck everyone! :-) |
Notes from the organizer: It's Round One!
You'll be playing a Nice 15 against Apterous Prune, and I'm going to set the target score at 100 points. Remember: three strikes and you're out; full rules can be found in the Foyer.
You have 48 hours to play your games for each round; the next round will begin 24 hours later, continuing until someone emerges as the Apterous Winter Olympics Snowball Fight Champion 2022. (This is a slight change from the original plan, which had rounds beginning every 48 hours.)
