Dave Kempshall Well, there it is ladies and gentlemen, we have our champion and Johnny joins John Part on the short list of Canadians to have taken the world darts crown.

In a tight opening, Johnny and Bradley exchanged sets, before Johnny reeled off three sets on the trot to take control. Bradley pulled the score back to 4-2 but, with history on his tastebuds, Johnny went back into top gear to streak to an emphatic 7-2 victory.

Congratulation Johnny, vwp on making the final Bradley. Thanks to everyone for playing. We’ll return next year with some potential tweaks to make the game a bit less attritional (and suggestions welcome).
