![]() | Tom Cappleman Is this still then scored for the competition in the same way? i.e. winner gets 60, next gets 59 etc. but just based on the bonus points? |
![]() | Andy SC @Tom - I was just intending on just adding the bonus points on to the overall tournament score. |
![]() | Tom Cappleman There's going to be hundreds of points available then - will be very swingy |
![]() | Dan Spinks lower ranked players probably have less than half the possible points available than higher ranked here though due to the distribution of difficulties in conundrum attacks |
![]() | Elizabeth Beer I was thinking the same thing, Dan |
![]() | Ian Volante Maybe a good time to get my second best ever score then? |
![]() | Andy SC Will probably need to come up with a better system :) |
![]() | Andy SC After 24 Rounds plus a bonus round we have a winner... Congratulations Tom Cappleman on winning with 2131 Points.

Notes from the organizer: You thought Round 24 was the last round, well think again. Advent Calendars come with surprises from time to time like Tony Chocolonely's empty Door 8 and this one is no different. I had this planned all along but was leaving it until the end to announce.
Bonus Points won't be awarded on how how many you solve correctly but how quickly you solve them. Here's how scoring will work:
The amount of bonus points to can score on each Conundrum will depend on the difficulty of the Conundrum and how quickly you correctly solve it. You will score points for every 3-seconds you save in solving a conundrum. So if a conundrum has a difficulty rating of 1, every 3 seconds saved will be worth 1-point, difficult rating of 2 worth 2-points and so on. Here's an example incase you don't understand:
Joe Bloggs solves a Conundrum with a difficulty rating of 5 in 6-seconds. This would mean that Joe saved 24-seconds (8 lots of 3) - so Joe would score 40 Bonus Points for this Conundrum (8*5)
However, be aware of an incorrect Conundrum guess, this will lose you 20 Bonus Points
