Tourney round: Make The Odds: Round #10
Notes from the organizer: The penultimate Prelims have been finished. Here are the results:
Eliminations this time round, with 70.63 and 55.94 respectively, are handed to Fiona T and Cyril Topher; sadly we had another episode of unlucky games that led to this event, but regardless thank you both for participating in this tourney.
Now onto the meat n' taters of this round, and as we get closer to the finals, I'll try and add some more info on this. First place goes to George Armstrong, scoring nine points off of the max; this makes it his second gold since Round 1 along with his 4 silvers. Second goes to Adam Latchford, who was George's opponent and was beaten by only one point in raw scoring. He now has his first silver to accompany the bronze he earned two rounds prior. Third place goes to Mervyn Tong, beating John Doherty by a sizable margin and with 15 points off of the 121 max he was in; he now has his third bronze medal of the game. The highest max in this round was 143, and the average ratio has dipped down a little to about 80 percent (79.96 if you wanna get specific).
We're at the final preliminary rounds now, whoever makes it out of this one here lands a spot in the finals. Now since we have not a lot of people left the randomization HAS pulled out similar games, but regardless I do hope you all take what you can out of this last round and... MAKE THE ODDS! (hey look guys he said the name of the tournament again)
