Dave Kempshall

Dave Kempshall Hi Andres - quick question. What's the criteria for elimination? Is it % vs max? If so, then in the last round quite a few others got a lower % than Dave's 68.8%.

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns It's raw score as a percentage of the max, and my raw score was just 86/125 while others with lower game scores gained a lot of raw points, I'm definitely out unfortunately!

Fiona T Andres, would you mind including a link to the spreadsheet in future round descriptions? Saves us a search for it :)

Andres S. Oh sure thing, my bad for not doing that in the first place: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FrWaHOJ1lBJPJw-PtzUXt66JQjbWFAD7HQoQnsjjJBg/edit?usp=sharing

I think I'll post it every 3rd/5th round, should work fine.

Andres S. Alright, I'll get to work on everything tonight in my area. For now everything is closed as it's complete!

Tourney round: Make The Odds: Round #6

<< Round #5 | Round #7 >>

Notes from the organizer: Round 5 is now finished, and it was a VERY interesting run. Here's the sitch:

Starting off with eliminations, the two lowest players... have actually played against each other. From an assumingly tough round the two lowest scorers, garnering 68.8 and 56 percent respectively, are Dave Robjohns and Piaras Last-Name. Thank you two for playing, hope you had some fun.

Now let's get onto the meat and potatoes. In first place is Thomas Carey for the second time in a row, by now getting only TWO points off of the max score of 141. Not only that, he's smashed the previous round's record of highest ratio by only 0.5! Second goes to George Armstrong for a 91.8 score, with him being ten points off. Turns out, he also broke a record; George has scored 14 MAXES in his game against Wesley. He DID beat George to the conundrum though, snatching George's chances of a full max. Third goes to Martin Thomas by just hitting the 90s as he was able to keep up with Thomas, even with beating him in a letters game.

Now let's address another thing; as some of you have seen in the Discussions page, me and Piaras now have Owl Licences (congrats to ya Piaras btw)! SO I'm gonna try and use that to my ability. I will stop doing those comments in chat that notify the deadline first and foremost. Instead I will have the round automatically close 8 days after this goes up, to accommodate the true one-week deadline as well as the extra day to give you all as I've mentioned before. I'll put the true deadline here though at least, so that you don't have to work on when it is. Regardless, I hope nothing big changes around here and that you're all enjoying everything. NOW LET'S DO THIS!
