Ties are basically best of 3 Apterous WC fixtures, with the best performing player from a team playing the best performing player from the opponents, 2nd vs 2nd & 3rd vs 3rd. This just makes sure we get a winner!

Notes from the organizer: Well, for the football there can only be one format: Apterous World Cup.

In a change from 2020, we're adding a team element to this event. The 14 teams have been drawn into 4 groups, and each player will play a round robin containing 1 player from each team in their group. The team's points total will depend on how many wins/draws they accrue.

The top two teams in each group will qualify. Two groups have 3 teams, so to make it a bit fairer, the best placed 3rd placed team in the 2 groups of 4 will face off with the worst placed 2nd placed team from the 2 groups of 3 in a playoff to make the quarters.

For the group stage, you have 3 weeks to complete your games - that's 1st August. 3 medals for the top 3 teams here - one per player.
