Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns Hi all, just a heads-up to say there's two weeks left in the league this season! Still a lot of games left here and plenty to play for. It may be worth getting in touch with those you're yet to play by aptomail :)

Patrick Thompson

Patrick Thompson Sorry for being so slack with my games - will be online tonight if anyone is around to clear a few

Anthony Endsor

Anthony Endsor I still have some games to go. I would like to get them all done tonight if at all possible as I'm likely to be quite busy this week. Thanks.

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns Hi everyone, Eeshan has withdrawn from this season so will effectively be relegated, leaving 1 relegation spot for the other 10 (I'll sort it out fully when I get a chance).

No confirmation on J E yet, but he's not been around for a while so will probably be removed from S9 and fill the other relegation spot.

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns With the final game a dead rubber, we can get the results done now, and it's a big congratulations to Ronan on securing his 1st title, our 7th unique winner! It went down to the wire with Ronan sealing the deal today, staving off a comeback from Patrick. He edges out the two Tom Cs who take the podium.

At the other end, we're losing Eeshan and J E this time - hopefully they'll be able to bounce back!

Thanks for playing everyone (and a big thanks for finishing almost all games) and see you for Season 9 :)

Notes from the organizer: Well here we are, one year down and we're into Season 8! Maus is our first double champion, but can he be the first twice consecutive champion?! We begin with Oliver as top rating seed though, having just won D2 again. Will Ronan's consistency give him a title (top 3 last two seasons)? Anthony makes his PL debut.

Good luck all!
