Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns Just a bit more on the bot thing - at most one low rated bot scratched off your list (e.g. Nude, Prune) will be moved up as high as possible. Your bot is then selected by taking the longest streak possible (e.g. if you've got Rex, Prime, Velvet, Plum, Waldorf but not Caesar, the Plum tick moves forward and you'll play Caesar).

Bradley Horrocks

Bradley Horrocks Do you have the list of bots I/we still need to tick off?

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns Yep, “Bots for R24” sheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HXoq_MCrLX_QUmr-NmVQbOmG9RTZ14DmS4DR7BUpA3I/edit#gid=0

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns Such a tight tourney, it's a shame scores aren't hidden like the duel! Best of luck everyone

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns Maus still to play and as it stands...

<98 = Oliver champion
98-104 = Oliver champion unless Maus cons in <1.5s
105+ = Maus win

Maus' average Omelette 15 score? 105.9. It couldn't be closer!

*These scenarios assume nobody else hits a score above 98 and that the game gets played!

Thomas Carey

Thomas Carey Thanks for working that out for me Dave! As iconic as it would be too not okay I'm gonna do it now

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns Our final round saw all the bots in action on paper, and double points for all. First shout out goes to T-Cap, nailing the fastest con for the 7th time (out of 10 he's got in the tourney!). He rounds off with the 2nd most bonus points, behind Bellowdown and bumbers bhizz Batthew B.

Ending up with the most letters maxes was Maus with a huge 144, 14 clear of Oliver in 2nd. Most number maxes was close but went to me, with Oliver and Matthew T one behind. Oliver took the most con maxes with 14. Fastest conundrum of the tourney was unsurprisingly touch junior, shared by Maus and Matty (0.5s)

Today's top 5:
131 - Thomas
127 - Oliver
117 - T-Cap
105 - Damian
98 - Jamie

A strong finish from Jamie sneaks him into the top 10 with a brilliant game against Velvet, which is surpassed by Damian. T-Cap does well to get a huge score vs Plum, while the usual suspects take the top two spots.

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns Congrats to Maus on the tourney win! A massive final week with two 60 point scores saw him edge past Oliver, who's incredible consistency featured top 10 finishes in all variants except Aegi, averaging a score over 100! Just 2 maxes separated these two in the end. Congrats also to T-Cap in 4th, a pretty epic performance having missed the first 2 days!

Thanks all for getting involved in this! Hope it's been fun despite all being entirely made up on the spot, I've certainly enjoyed following the contest and seeing some great scores from everyone - everyone managed top 10 at some point throughout!

Finally, just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and new year!
