Notes from the organizer: Spoilers! It's Spoilers 2020!
Apterous's one and only Spoilage tournament (there's a reason for that) is back. I run this once every 10 years (again, there's a reason for that). Like with Aegilopsists in the summer, you play a group and knockout stage, with two prizes being awarded - one for the winner outright and one for the best human. So there's a third-place play-off, and I intend this year to include lower class plates for a full 1-x ranking in the knockouts. Why did I mention "one for the best human"? Well... the bots play. All of them. You can see the 2010 tournament in the wiki: http://wiki.apterous.org/Spoilers_2010 - and groups are decided on your spoilage ratings, so get practising! A couple of changes from 2010: I won't be doing flat scoring this year because Apterous won't let me, and we'll have plates for B-class, C-class, etc., as long as it takes.
THE SERIOUS BIT: this tournament will last until January, and sign-ups will last for two weeks.
Remember, it's just a bit of fun...
