Martin Long

Martin Long Been catching up on this tournament, excellent work Matthew. Can we expect to see some Spoilage Numbers further down the line?

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Thanks! Of course you can expect Spoilage. It's not appeared earlier than round 20 in previous tournaments, so you'll probably have to wait a few rounds yet.

Chris Butler

Chris Butler Oh, there was me thinking it would appear tomorrow in R16..... :/

Dave Robjohns

Dave Robjohns I've been checking Tass's latest games the day before each round for clues as there tends to be a prelude, so did briefly fear we were in for an early appearance of it...

Chris Butler Twas my thinking too Dave

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Yes, I do generally play a trial game before putting the round up. But I'm often playing spoilage for a bit of fun, so don't be misled :)

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier An impressive 190 from our top tournament points scorer Elliott ties him up with Messrs Cappleman and Horrocks with a record 11 Strongest Link performances in the five years of this tournament.

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier A very challenging round finds two tournament regulars just short of safety after fighting their way through this far. Well done John on achieving his highest finish in his fifth appearance. But, John and Robin you are the Weakest Links. Goodbye!

John Gillies

John Gillies Thanks again Matthew!! :)

Tourney round: Weakest Link Numbers Tournament 2020: Round 15 - Hyper

<< Round 14 - Berserk | Round 16 - Bullet >>

Notes from the organizer: A real treat for the top 25 players in round 15: It's a challenging game in Hyper format against Apterous Plum. Hyper has a more generous 45 second round limit, and you're going to need it here as Plum will, at least initially, pick 8 small numbers and is likely to max most, if not all, rounds.

The TWO lowest scoring players in this round will leave the tournament. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
