Tourney round: Aptolympics 2020: Event 54: Badminton
Notes from the organizer: Event 54 of Aptolympics is another live event, Badminton! Badminton has been likened to junior unlimited, because the court is one of the smallest venues in the games and the points can be very long; I saw a 102 shot rally at the one pro badminton event I've been to. The record in a professional game is 256, a staggering 4.5 minutes.
It's worth 5 medals.
Fun fact: Despite only making the Olympics in 1992, Badminton is allegedly the second most popular participation sport in the world. It's currently dominated by Asian countries... and Denmark.
