Tourney round: Aptolympics 2020: Event 33: High Jump

	Dave Robjohns Thanks for making a fairly quick start with this event, 71 games played is great. I'm trying to get games added quickly so people don't end up time fouling at the deadline. A word on tie breaks - having checked the highjump rules, it turns out fails at earlier heights are treated equally; i.e. if two players both beat Velvet first attempt and then lose thrice to Prime, but one player lost twice earlier (both vs Nude) while the other only lost twice vs Caesar, they are equal. So it's: If two or more jumpers tie for one of these places, the tie-breakers are: 1) the fewest misses at the height at which the tie occurred; and 2) the fewest misses throughout the competition. Practical example; John B and Tom C are tied. Further tiebreaks (tbc) will be added if needed. TL;DR version; ignore the score column, that's just for my benefit sorting games.

	Dave Robjohns Oh whoops, I'm sure I used to be able to count to 3, too! I guess the 81-80 loss was so close the judges weren't quite sure if you'd knocked the bar off or whether it was a gust of wind - now removed the 4th game :)

	Dave Robjohns I agree, that puts you above everyone that loses all 3 vs Prime. But it's not a win either, so you have 2 more chances to do that [so you're currently behind Jack who beat Prime at the third attempt]. Not sure what the equivalent in HJ is but we'll roll with it.

Notes from the organizer: We've reached the halfway point! Event 33 is the high jump. Here you'll start off facing Nude, with 3 attempts to beat her. Win that, and you'll face Waldorf, etc etc.. So much like high jump, 3 fails and you're eliminated, else you march on, and the least losses is first tiebreaker.

For those of you going the distance, there are natch a lot of rounds. Therefore games will need to be played within 5 days (less after fails) - deadlines will be on the games, I'll try to get new games set up very quickly!

The high jump is worth 5 medals.

I was lucky enough to see this guy live at the para world champs in 2017, and a guy with one leg somersaulting over my height remains one of the most incredible sporting feats I've seen.
