Dave Robjohns Golf has also reached it's halfway point, and so after two rounds we lose half of the field (of 36) to the cut, so the top 18 qualify.

We had 12 who won both their fixtures against Caesar, so they qualify immediately. 3 more beat Caesar in the decider. The final three were chosen by looking at their total score over the first two games. Anthony & Chris very unlucky to miss out after all that by a couple of points!

Congrats to the 18 that move onwards, you lucky people now have 2 more games against Prime...

Criteria will be wins (excluding 3rd game), then wins (including third game), then total points, as above. Contrary to the blurb, Rex will not be involved. You have approx 2 weeks to play the games!

Dan Byrom I have a minor gripe! (Sorry) - Because I read in the rules that "if you win both of these you make the cut", I assumed that after losing my first game I was out, and so tanked the second game to avoid a third.

Had I known it was possible to get through otherwise I would have tried in the second game!

Since I highly doubt I'd make a medal anyway, I'm not too worried about bowing out, but was wondering if a second chance at a second game might be allowed...?

Dave Robjohns Yep that seems fair enough; it's pretty clear you tanked that - apologies for not spotting!

Changed the rules to better imitate the real thing but neglected to mention that.

So I suppose to qualify you'll need to either beat Caesar 2-0 (games 2 and 3) or win the first scoring at least 83. I won't remove anyone if you do make it.

There aren't any other clear cut looking cases of tanking, but if anyone else genuinely feels the description worsened their play in the second game, let me know and will likely offer a second chance.

Notes from the organizer: The 21st event is Golf. Here you will face off against two bots in the Masters format (because the Masters is an event in golf that is absolutely more prestigious than Olympic golf)

Golf is typically a 4 round game so we'll mimic this here: You will first play two games against Apterous Caesar. If you win both of these, you make the cut, and get to play your next two games against Apterous Prime. If multiple players win all 4, you face a playoff round against Rex.

The deadlines are as follows:
17th July - two Caesar games
25th July - two Prime games
3rd August - two Rex games (if required)
