As said in the text, the 6 group winners will qualify, along with two more based on total maxes only (if you somehow finish say 4th with more maxes than any 2nd placer, you can qualify).

Dave Robjohns We’re so far into July that the events I’d practically forgotten about are reaching deadlines! The group stage is done here, and with Marcus withdrawing, we have 5 group winners and 3 next most maxes qualifying.

Players are seeded with the 5 group winners 1-5 ordered by maxes, and then the 3 others ordered by maxes

The quarter finals are thus as follows:

Notes from the organizer: Event 6 of these games is Volleyball. Here you'll be assigned into groups of 6, playing in a fast placed bullet letters max attack. The top player will then make the quarter finals, plus a few more based on total maxes.

The group stage will conclude on 22nd July (4 weeks) so that there's enough time to play the knockouts.

The format is so chosen as you only get 3 touches of the ball before returning it over the net.

The event is worth 4 medals!
