Tourney round: Berserk 15 Championships: Sign-up page
Notes from the organizer: Introducing what I believe is the first ever head-to-head berserk tourney! We have had this quirk on apterous available for around 2 years now, and seen many superhuman performances as a result. Perhaps we’ll see more here.
There will be a knockout round, ideally with a power of 2 size bracket. However to determine the seedings^ and whittle down the numbers if necessary, there will first be a qualifying round. Here you'll have 3 berserk 15s against Prune, your TOTAL score will be taken.
After this round, the knockouts will begin. They won’t be ordinary knockouts however, the format will be compass draw. All this means is that alongside the main knockout bracket, there will be separate brackets going on for those who lose along the way, to determine all of the placings. Thus, everyone who makes the knockout round will get the same number of ties as those who make the grand final. The knockout games will start as best-of-1, then only the main knockout bracket will gradually increase through the rounds.
I anticipate the tourney will be over by July – after all it shouldn’t take long to play your games!
