| M S R The reason I am only adding states won onto the total is due to a quirk of the electoral system in the US (which was last used in 1828, but will be needed here I reckon)

| M S R On a separate note, I remembered my Constitution wrong. It is not the numbers who have a majority, but the five highest on the list (again, Constitution Article 2, Section 1) Therefore, it is the TOP 5 ONLY who go through to majority determiner. Not those with a majority. My apologies for any confusion. |

It's meant to simulate American politics, and what could be crazier than that? The theme behind this tourney is the main thing that makes it so fun, imo, so please don't ditch it in favour of sensibility. |

Tourney round: Apterous Presidential Election: Ohio
Notes from the organizer: Midwest again and Ohio-not only does it have a nice, high number of votes for you to get, but since 1964 the victor here has won outright. Wonder if that will be replicated here.

DETAILS ON MAJORITY DETERMINER
So, should no-one get a majority, here is how things will be worked out...
-Firstly, once all 538 votes are given out, those who have a majority of votes (270+) between them qualify.
-Secondly, you go on to play a Spoilage NA. The victor of that round then wins outright. You will recieve a 1-point bonus added onto the final Spoilage NA score for every round won.
This might not be needed should someone reach 270. Time shall tell. Feels like an age since Iowa. And it's even close to over yet.
