Tourney round: Apterous Presidential Election: Sign-Ups

Iowa >>

Notes from the organizer: To celebrate American Politics' latest four-yearly clusterfuck, cue the Apterous Presidential Election. Callum Todd came out as Prime Minister in December. Now for the President.

There will be 51 rounds-one for each state and the District of Columbia. The rounds will simply consist of a game against Prune in varying formats and variants. The winner of that round receives the points, which correspond to the number of EC vote the state in question receives. For example, the winner of the round for California would get 55 points, whilst the winner of the round for Wyoming walks away with only 3. The order of the states will be based on the primary process (mostly). Around one to two rounds a week will be put up, and you'll have a week also to complete them.

270 points are required for a majority. Even if that is reached part-way through, it will be seen out to the end (to finish what we started). Should no-one reach 270 by the end, then there will be one final round to determine the winner (to be revealed if needed).

If this seems all seems slightly batshit, then welcome to American Politics. We'll be kickstarting with Iowa on 17th March. Hope to see you there.

TL:DR-A series of games against Prune with a scoring system based off the US Electoral College.
