Bradley Horrocks We've made it to the final day, and we seem to have a 4 horse race, with a quartet of people on 5 wins - Zack, Elizabeth, Matthew S and Hazel! Three of them are aiming to convert their remaining loss into a win, Elizabeth has hedged her bets and opted for the Numbers Attack. Good luck to all in the final hours!
Bradley Horrocks Matthew played his at the earliest opportunity, and he didn't regret it! He overturned a 16 point deficit with 3 rounds to go, and got a pencil to boot! The only player to win all 6, he is the champion of Beat Your Bot - congrats! Should another BYB arise and Matthew attempts to defend his title, his bot will be upgraded one.

Andy SC Cheers for hosting this great tournament, Bradley.
Fiona T Great idea and leveller Bradley - was satisfying to see some of the top players enjoying the same frustrations that we mere mortals feel! Congrats to Matthew - very well played
M S R Many thanks for hosting, Bradley, great tournament. And my thanks to Waldorf, for not having the average conundrum solve time of 0.7 seconds.
Elizabeth Beer Great tourney, thanks Bradley!
Zack K Cheers for hosting, great tourney.
Tim Down Thanks Bradley, good work.
Hazel Drury Great tourney, Thanks Bradley for organising :)
Callum Todd Great idea, we'll executed. Was the most challenging tourney I've played in for ages. Would definitely like to see this concept return one day, thi k it has the potential to be used in a few different ways.
Samir Pilica Thanks for organizing, Bradley. The first tourney I took part in and completed in 11 years on Apterous. Will definitely play again should there be another one.

Tracey Mills Thank you for organising Bradley, it was fun
Bradley Horrocks Thanks for all the nice comments. I will probably bring back the concept in the near future, more than likely spread it out over a longer period of time - I was lucky to have the free time to administer this one properly. What exactly it will look like, I'll have to think about. Watch this space!
Linda McGrory Thanks for the tourney Bradley...and all the chances to redeem myself (to no avail!) Forgot this wasn't a text message...(I nearly signed off with a x) :)
Ian Birdman oh Linda what are you like xx |
Notes from the organizer: Time for the final round now, and it's also time for some speed. Your final challenge is a Blitz, 10 second rounds consisting of 12 letters and 3 conundrums. So make sure you have your brains switched on, you won't have long to note your words!
No one is on for a perfect 6/6, but there are a few close. Likewise, no one is totally out of contention, so keep going :)
Ran from: 28 – 31 December 2019. Format: Blitz. Matches: One-off. Approved.
Fixtures: 40. Completed: 40.
Key. Green: winner. Red: loser. Grey: tie. (Stripes: provisional, match in progress.)
