Callum Todd

Callum Todd You know it's a proper apto tourney when it has its own spreadsheet.

Callum Todd

Callum Todd Also, if there's a conundrum attack round its gonna be brutal for those with higher bots, prime and rex especially.

Bradley Horrocks

Bradley Horrocks Indeed! Thought I'd show some mercy in giving Prime as your opponent for the Attacks instead of the flawless Rex

Bradley Horrocks Last day to sign up. (Though if you do, where have you been?)

Tourney round: Beat Your Bot: Sign-up page

Round 1 - 9 Rounder >>

Notes from the organizer: Time for a bite-sized tournament to see out 2019 :)

Many tournaments have a handful of potential winners, which is fine, but I aim to level the playing field here with a twist.

If you choose to sign-up, your opponent for each round is the first bot to have a higher rolling rating than you. For instance, someone with a rolling rating of 1000 will play Plum (1200), and someone with a rolling rating of 2000 will play Prime (2200). Any brave players over 2200 will have a mix of Prime and Rex. Soap is excluded, and in order to avoid any mischievous folk purposely losing points, I will take your rolling rating as it was at 12am Monday 16th December!

There will be 6 rounds, all 'normal' formats (nothing too quirky here!), followed by 3 wildcard rounds. The wildcard rounds will allow you to improve on your results from the first 6 rounds. Players will be ranked by wins, then by points margin in victories - so for wildcard rounds, I'll automatically add the game you either won by the smallest margin or lost by the smallest margin - though you'll have to chance to ask to replay a different round.

Rounds will be added daily from Monday 23rd December. This does mean a round will be made available on Christmas Day, though everyone has until the 31st to play each round (28th to maximise the wildcard benefit). The champion will be known at the latest when Big Ben chimes to mark the new year!

Tl;dr - handful of games against bot of similar ability over Christmas!
