Tourney round: Everything Counts VII: Sign-up page
Notes from the organizer: Do you like tournaments? Do you like lots of games? Do you like 9-rounders in particular? If the answer to all three of those questions is yes, then you are on the right tournament page.
ITS BACK!!! Everything Counts returns for its 7th edition. Everything Counts is a round robin tournament followed by knockout stages. What makes the round robin stage unique is that everybody plays everybody. The round robin stage will commence on the 4th January 2020 and run until the 14th February 2020. The scoring system for the round robin stage will remain the same but for those that are new or can’t remember here is a reminder:
- 4 Points for a win
- 2 Points for a draw
- 1 Bonus point for scoring 70+ points
- 1 Bonus point losing within 10 points
The number of players that advance from the round robin stage will depend entirely on how many players sign-up. For this year I have decided to alter the format of the Knockout Stages. From Round 1 to the Semi Final each match will be Best-of-3 over the 9-round format with the Final remaining as a Best-of-5 Standard 15 match where the winner of EC VII will be decided.
Previous winners of Everything Counts are: Callum Todd (I, II, VI), Zarte Siempre (III), Elliott Mellor (IV, V). Will one of those three win another title or will we have a brand new champion? Join us to find out.
