Chris Butler

Chris Butler I reckon that's curtains for me, I did a damn sight better in the practice game!

One observation, it's actually harder when Prime plays bad at this, because when he gets a small lead, he switches to 1L, but when he doesn't he sticks with the brutal 3L

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Yes, very true. Prime hit 190 when I had a trial game of this, spared me from many 3Ls. Awkward round, could still be in with a chance.

Bradley Horrocks Shouldn’t Sean be here instead of Vincent?

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Unfortunately I've had to penalise Sean due to disconnections, so Vincent has qualified instead.

Chris Butler End of the road for me. A pleasure as always to take part in the Apterous event of the year. Thanks for hosting this again Matthew and good luck to all the semi-finalists :)

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Cheers Chris, see you next year. Are you collecting odd-numbered placings? By my rekoning you've finished 1st, 5th, 3rd and 7th in the 4 years.

Chris Butler

Chris Butler I like to see it more as prime number placings rather than odd, unless I win then I don't care :)

Tourney round: Weakest Link Numbers Tournament 2019: Round 22 - Omelette

<< Round 21 - Instant | Round 23 - Hyper Nasty >>

Notes from the organizer: Antepenultimate round twenty-two will be played in Omelette format against Apterous Prime. Make sure you use all 6 numbers in your solution and bear in mind that the rules nowadays allow you to use up some of the numbers in "dead ends". Prime will initially choose 3 large numbers and will solve almost every round exactly.
The TWO lowest scoring players in this round will leave the tournament. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
All the best to the lucky final 7!

Ran from: 22 March – 4 April 2019. Format: Omelette Numbers Attack. Matches: One-off. Approved.

Organizers: Matthew Tassier.

Fixtures: 7. Completed: 7.
