Matthew Tassier Sorry! Corrected now

Tim Down

Tim Down No practice rounds for me next year. I've done better in every single one than the real thing this year. Thanks for organising, Matthew, it's been fun.

Ben Andrews

Ben Andrews People way better than me are going out here. I got a really, really easy game and Prime didn’t play very well...

Tim Down

Tim Down I had a bit of a shocker tbh.

Tourney round: Weakest Link Numbers Tournament 2018: Round 18 - Octolock

<< Round 17 - Speed | Round 19 - Bullet >>

Notes from the organizer: For round 18 it's time to take on a challenge in Octolock format. With larges of 20, 30, 40 and 50 and only 5 numbers to work with, it can often be tricky to get anywhere near your target in this variant, and your opponent here will be Prime who will, at least initially, choose the rarely played 3 Large option and may even max the game. As with Octorock some players will likely get games with far lower possible max scores than others do. No whinging will be accepted, that's just luck of the draw.
The TWO lowest scoring players in this round will exit the tournament. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of defeat will be the deciding factor amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
Good luck to the final fourteen!

Ran from: 17 – 29 March 2018. Format: Octolock Numbers Attack. Matches: One-off. Approved.
