Notes from the organizer: This tourney is part of the Apterous Winter Olympics 2018.
This is the group stage of the event. Group winners will take part in play-offs to decide the medal placings. In this stage, you will play each competitor in your group in a best-of-three match in the Hyper Nasty variant. The size of the groups will be finalised once sign-up has closed; three or four players per group is most probable.
It is expected that you should have no difficulty completing these games. We encourage the use of the aptomail system as a means of communication between you and your opponent. Unplayed or uncompleted games will be adjudicated, where necessary, at the discretion of the organiser; players with too many unplayed or uncompleted games may be removed from the results entirely. You should contact the tournament organiser if you are experiencing problems contacting your opponents.
