Chris Butler

Chris Butler Before Octolock, really?! I can only assume that Octolock will be played against Rex through a stained-glass screen with drawing pins stuck in our finger tips! ;)

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Gotta keep you guessing, Chris. Now where's that red-hot poker?

Gevin Chapwell

Gevin Chapwell 180 and 177?! If this is the standard, I think this might be my final round. I'm certainly not going to rush into playing this one.

Gevin Chapwell

Gevin Chapwell But well done chaps. Very good scores.

Chris Butler

Chris Butler Thanks, it just fell right for me. There was a huge sigh of relief after every single successful round, certainly not very enjoyable!

In last years Hyper Nasty round, 157 was strongest link and 117 qualified for final. But there are 7 playing this compared to only 4 last year, so those stats don't really tell us much. May as well utilize the 2 week window though

Gevin Chapwell

Gevin Chapwell Could have been better, could have been worse. But I'm happy enough with that and I'm happy to sit and wait.

Elliott Mellor

Elliott Mellor Meh, that'll probably be me out.

Gevin Chapwell

Gevin Chapwell Possibly but it's definitely me out. So thanks Matthew for running this. Congratulations to everyone still in. And see you next year!

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier You're welcome Gev, seeya then!

Sean Fletcher Cheers for organising, Matthew.

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier No probs Sean, Hyper Nasty can be brutal!

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Strong scoring in Hypernasty this time round, well done to Chris for being the Strongest Link here.

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Now down to 5! Well done to both of those who miss out for getting further this year than last, but Gev and Sean you are the Weakest Links, Goodbye!

Tourney round: Weakest Link Numbers Tournament 2017: Round 21 - Hyper Nasty

<< Round 20 - Bullet | Round 22 - Octolock >>

Notes from the organizer: Round twenty one will be played in Hyper Nasty format against Apterous Caesar. The large numbers range from the useless to the unwieldy providing a real test of calculation and focus. Caesar will choose 2 large numbers and will probably solve a few rounds.
The two lowest scoring players in this round will leave the tournament. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
Good Luck!

Ran from: 20 March – 2 April 2017. Format: Hyper Nasty Numbers Attack. Matches: One-off. Approved.

Organizers: Matthew Tassier.

Fixtures: 7. Completed: 7.
