Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Fourteen players this round took the chance to register a max game on the last junior game of this years tournament, and Jim claimed the Strongest Link title.

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Tim, Jamie, Johnny and Robin all squeeze through based on their tournament total so far, leaving three very unlucky people to leave the tournament with a record high 180 points. Matt, Dave and Tracey you are the Weakest Links, Goodbye!

Gevin Chapwell

Gevin Chapwell Really harsh round!

Tony Atkins

Tony Atkins Phew - thought I was in danger with a max game of 192 - one round was only possibly 7 away!

Chris Butler

Chris Butler Yeah tough competition this round, everyone got 18+ maxes which is a harsh way to be eliminated. Literally anyone with a couple of particularly tricky rounds could've been knocked out here.

I can't recall a junior game with a max 7 away before!

Tourney round: Weakest Link Numbers Tournament 2017: Round 7 - Unlimited Junior

<< Round 6 - Normal | Round 8 - Lockdown >>

Notes from the organizer: Round seven is the final junior round, played in Unlimited Junior format against Apterous Rex. This is essentially the same as Junior but with the addition of an extra large number, 20. Rex will, of course, play perfectly against you.
One quirk of this format is that if 20 is your target then you must still do a calculation even if there is a 20 in the selection. (e.g. do 20*1 or 20+4-4 etc.)
The THREE lowest scoring players will leave the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
Good luck!

Ran from: 30 January – 12 February 2017. Format: Unlimited Jnr Numbers Attack. Matches: One-off. Approved.

Organizers: Matthew Tassier.
