Jon Stitcher Erm, how did I get relegated? I finished 3rd from bottom, I wasn't in a play off but I guessed there was some weird formula that meant I was ahead of Tom Rowell as we had identical win loss records.

Jon Stitcher I'm not fussed btw and obviously it's a massive undertaking to change the divisions and fixtures now just wondered how it happened.

Callum Todd So in light of your comment Jon, I've had a chat with Zarte and it turns out there's been some misunderstanding on my part with some of the details of aptotude's official rules on unplayed fixtures and the like. This might have led to some division standings being slightly different to what they would be had aptotude rules been applied to the letter.

However, this does not mean that the standings were arbitrary or unreasonably decided. While they may have not been based on aptotude rules to the letter in all cases, all decisions were made based on good reason, and full warning was given (on many occasions) about what could happen in the event of unplayed games.

I'm very sorry to anyone who may have been hard done by (or well done by, if my mistake worked in your favour) by my misunderstanding. However, it's worth noting that in your case, Jon, you would have been relegated under aptotude rules anyway. If anyone wants a blow-by-blow account of any specific case then I can provide

Matt OC David and I drew our game but there is red against my name and green against David's? Why is this?

Martin Long Same has happened with my game against Frank Jones.

Callum Todd No idea what basis the tourney system on apterous decides who's green an who's red when a game is play. Anyway, it's entirely irrelevant. It's just a colour, everyone who knows what numbers are still understands that it's a draw.
