James Laverty Stepdown coverted scores
|
Notes from the organizer: It's time for round 3, which is Touchdown. Last year saw Tom Cappleman win this particular round so it will be interesting to see if he can do so again.
This week, Numberwang was chosen by one of my playing partners at a golf tournament I played in at the weekend, while two people play their jokers this week; they are Matthew Brockwell (more on him later), and Sean Fletcher.
But now, here are the details from the recently Round 1.
Matthew Brockwell was the defending champion of not just The Multiverse, but of the Omelette round, and he held on to his crown with a score of 136. Ian Volante was just one point behind in second place, while Zarte Siempre and Jim Bentley were joint third with 133. However, Jon Wilford is your Round 1 leader, after a well played joker doubling his score to 40.
Numberwang was 77, with Tricia Lockhart earning a bonus point for being closest with her score of 79.
Catherine Mullan and Euan Slatter also earn bonus points for unearthing some pencils. The pencilled words were HAV (Catherine), and MOGE (Euan.)
The table looks like this.
J Wilford 40

I Volante 28
