Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre ^ Those are the ties for round 2 btw.

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre I'm fairly sure I've specified this before somewhere, but just in case. These must be played in high score formats, and must be formats which contain a mixture of letters, numbers and a conundrum. No blitzes please, and no touch juniors with 13 conundrums.

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre First game up and played. Alex storms through 220-136

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre In probably the game of the whole competition so far, Paul gets past Adam by a score of 233-225

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre Peter makes his way through to round 3 with a score of 238-193

Adam Dexter

Adam Dexter How come ours is starred? Did we do something wrong?

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre I don't know, Adam - I don't think there's an issue, maybe just an Apterous glitch :)

Adam Dexter

Adam Dexter Oh - so it's not something you put there? Weird :/

Jamie M

Jamie M It's starred because it's in a recognized format (Omelette 15) that isn't the same as the format for the round, which is why tie break games get a star by them too. It doesn't do that for custom games though for some reason.

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre Jamie "Poirot" McNeill

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre In what is only going to show how important the small margins is in this tournament, Heather wins against Antoinette... by 211-210

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre Marcus makes his way through a potential banana skin by 205-177

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre In one of the ties that looked the tastiest on paper, with 2 evenly matched players, Scott beat T-Cap in a matches shared contest, 222-203

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre For me, the game I just played with Jamie is the kind of thing I envisioned when I set this up. Sorry to see Jamie go, cause he's a brilliant unlimited specialist, however I'm through, 239-238

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre Ian and Jason forgot to set their first game to stepdown, but I'm letting them off. Cba to check the exact score atm though.

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre James records a phenomenally high aggregate score and beats Anoush 264-166

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre 3 more completed games. Matthew beats Michelle by an impressive 266-187, Barry pulls it back after a first leg defeat to beat John by 216-211 and after some work has been done on translating the scores from Ned and Tracey's game, it appears that Ned has come out on top by 213-187

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre Jordan comes out the winner of a very tight contest by 207-204

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre Another one that forgot to put their game through as stepdown for a leg, however Chris make it past Kevin by 218-185

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre 215-112 for James against Kieran.

Zarte Siempre

Zarte Siempre David puts in an astonishing 287 point performance against Paul W who was no slouch in scoring 217 himself.

Chris Hare also sending out a message with a 250-144 win over Paul.
