Marcus Hares

Marcus Hares Well played Matthew - good luck in the rest of the tournament. Thanks for organising Adam, can I have a kinder draw next year please?

Martin Long

Martin Long Unlucky Marcus, very tough draw to get first up. Looks like some cracking ties in this tournament, should be great fun.

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Thanks Marcus. Looking forward to you vs. Graeme, Martin. Should be a good game.

Jason Larsen

Jason Larsen I'm still waiting to hear from Nik Mackintosh

Adam Gillard

Adam Gillard Random draw of course Marcus, toughie indeed. No knowing what crazy format next year's tournament will be in if I run one. Interested to see if any games go to the tie-break numbers rounds. And Jason, don't worry, there's plenty of time left to play your match.

Jason Larsen

Jason Larsen Thank you Adam

Adam Gillard

Adam Gillard Michael Wallace has had to pull out, so Gevin will play Zarte in the Round of 32.

Herbert Plank

Herbert Plank you've put the wrong Michael Cullen in the tourney.

Adam Gillard

Adam Gillard Oh. There are two who joined in Jun '09 and one who joined in Aug '11. Bit confusing. The correct MC should be in the system now, but I don't see that there's any way to remove the original fixture (yet; I've filed I ticket).

Michael Cullen

Michael Cullen My bad.

Chris Butler

Chris Butler Has the wrong one been deleted?!

Adam Gillard

Adam Gillard They've played their match, but there's no way of deleting the original fixture I put in (yet).

Adam Gillard

Adam Gillard Referring to Hugh and Michael^

Chris Butler

Chris Butler Ahh yes, I see

Adam Gillard

Adam Gillard Jamie and Rhys are scheduled to play their match tomorrow, in case anyone (Matthew) was wondering.

Chris Butler

Chris Butler Tomorrow never comes....

Adam Gillard

Adam Gillard Hmm

Jason Larsen

Jason Larsen Uh-oh. They're no-shows

Adam Gillard An update on this - I've given Rhys until Wednesday to respond to an email I've sent him. Hopefully he and Jamie will play on Wednesday evening, Thursday or the coming weekend. If Rhys doesn't respond by Wednesday or fails to play the fixture at any of these times, I will advance Jamie to the Round of 16.

Gevin Chapwell

Gevin Chapwell I thought they had until 13th May.

Adam Gillard

Adam Gillard Yes, in theory, but it's taking liberties when you ignore emails and fail to turn up to play at the time that you have agreed with your opponent. I'm trying to be lenient by giving Rhys another chance to set a time with Jamie. The only reason I set the deadline of 13 May was because I moved the tournament forward and thought it unfair to move the deadline forward as well, in case people were on holiday until May or something. Jamie got in touch with Rhys pretty early on, and I intervened when he hadn't responded; they agreed to play at 8pm last night and it didn't transpire. I'd rather not have to advance Jamie without the fixture being played, but unless Rhys makes a concerted effort to play this match, then I will do.

Adam Gillard

Adam Gillard Hooray! In all likelihood, the remaining fixture will be played on Thursday afternoon / evening. Rhys had a genuine reason for not turning up on Sunday night, and I apologise to him for assuming otherwise.
