Notes from the organizer: Firstly, congrats to the 16 lucky players that have made it through to the last 16.
The 16 players that made it through from each group, that finished in the top 5 are as follows:
Group A: Ian Volante, Robin McKay, Mervyn Tong, Ben Hocking, Jon Wilford
Group B: Robert Miller, Matthew Tassier, Eddy Byrne, Lee Simmonds, Phil Hannan.
Group C: Transude Transude, Callum Todd, Johnny Canuck, James Laverty, Alan Young
Chris Marshall is the lucky player to have been the best 6th placed player, so since this has happened this is how the fixtures were decided for the Last 16:
Match 1: 1st Group C v 6th Group A
Match 2: 3rd Group B v 4th Group A
Match 3: 2nd Group B v 4th Group C
Match 4: 1st Group A v 5th Group B
Match 5: 2nd Group C v 5th Group A
Match 6: 3rd Group A v 5th Group C
Match 7: 2nd Group A v 4th Group B
Match 8: 1st Group B v 3rd Group C
The following is the schedule I plan for each round to take:
