Tourney round: Apterous Seniors Championship 2016: Sign-up Page
Notes from the organizer: The Apterous Seniors Championship is open to all players aged 40 or above as of 31st December 2015.
The format is New 15 Rounder, and will be a straight knockout, seeded by Pro-Rank at the closing date for entries.
Matches will be best of 3 until the Quarter-Finals onwards which will then be best of 5.
The only minor change from last year is that the seedings will be more flexible eg. last 16 will be (1-8)v(9-16) rather than last year's 1v16, 2v15....
Closing date for entries is Sunday 24th January with the draw being published the following evening. Seedings will be based on Pro-Ranks issued Monday 25th January 2015.
It would be expected that each round would take no more than two weeks to complete.
Players who are either unwilling or unable to confirm their identity and/or birthdate (if required) will not be accepted for this tournament. This caveat is included to protect the integrity of the competition and will not be required in most cases.
