Tourney round: Christmas Bash: 2014
Notes from the organizer: This worked really well last year, with 27 people taking part in the 2013 Christmas Bash (see http://challonge.com/sexmas for the tournament tree).
The important stuff this time round:
Date: Monday 22 December - sign ups open at 7.30pm, first round starts at 8.00pm.
Game format: Standard 15 Rounder.
Tourney format: World Cup style group Stage & knockout. (This way, everyone is guaranteed at least three games, but the tournament still retains the extra spectator value compared to, say, a Swiss tournament). It'll be hosted on challonge.com, as usual, and the groups will be completely random/unseeded.
That's pretty much it. No real need to sign up on this event itself, but if you'd like to do so as a general marker of interest for the tournament, then do feel free.
