Amie Bateen Jack, what happens in the case of two drawers and no tiebreaks?
Amie Bateen draws even!
Tom Rowell it goes to away goals, which means you have won because the first game will be 3-3 and the second 2-2, and the first was my home game (I think)
Jack Worsley Yeah, rounds won are counted as goals, even if it's not quite the same as winners scoring. 3-3 was Tom's home game, 2-2 was Amie's, meaning Amie wins on away goals (3 to 2). Sorry if it's a bit confusing.
Jack Worsley Congrats to Alex, Amie, Paul and James (by default). Thanks for playing Sean, Tom, Phil and Lloyd. |
Notes from the organizer: If you finished third in your Champions League group, you have a chance of redemption with this smaller tourney. It will be knockout all the way, starting here. The quarters and semis will be two legs and the final will be just one. The same rules will be used as for the knockout games in the Champions League. There will be no seeding in this tournament, so it could make for some interesting ties early on. Good luck!
Ran from: 2 – 30 November 2014. Format: Champions League. Matches: One-off. Approved.
