Tourney round: The Great Pyramid: 12th Floor (Now With Deadlines!)
Notes from the organizer: Hey all... it looks like I now have more free time than ever before, and I'm able to resuscitate the ancient ruins that remain of last year's Great Pyramid tourney. Some of the tourney's contestants have left Apterous; their names have been taken off the list for now, but should they return to this or a future tourney, I will make sure to give them benefits to make up for this.
The deadline for playing the 12th Floor is JANUARY 18, 2014 (next Saturday). No exceptions. You may obtain an extension of up to THREE DAYS (until JANUARY 21) by aptomailing or otherwise contacting me if you will not be available. However, after this period passes, we will have no choice but to eliminate non-playing people based on their scores on the previous floor.
As an apology to people whom I've kept waiting, and to counterbalance the departures of a couple of our contestants, I won't be eliminating anyone from the 11th Floor. (I make this decision impartially, without knowing the identity of the lowest scorer.)
The 12th Floor's format is a modern 15 Rounder with the last three letters games excluded (thus, LLNLLNLLNLNC). Whether you're a young'un or a "Giza", good luck to you here. (It took me four months to come up with another pun...)
