Hall of Spoons
The Spoon of Awesome is a special item in the world of apterous (you can tell because it's in bold).
A Spoon may be awarded for any reason judged suitable by the Panel of Spoons, which is to say, me. Amazing achievements "on the field",
contributions to the apterous community, or donations of expensive bottles of wine are all taken into consideration.
Recipients of a Spoon are known as Spooners, while Spoon-worthy acts are referred to as Spoonerisms.
The Panel of Spoons is always looking for new Spoonerisms, so please let us know if you see one -- but
please, no nominating yourself. That would be terribly uncouth.
The initial inductees into the Hall of Spoons will be unveiled in the coming weeks. Please give them your love and admiration.
