Daily Duel results for 22 October 2014

Adam Finlay

Adam Finlay do you have to declare nothing to get 10 points in Round 2?

Matt Hamer

Matt Hamer No, under Stepdown scoring in the Lock variants, it's impossible to score any points in a Letters round where there are no valid words. It makes no difference whether you declare a word or not.

Adam Finlay

Adam Finlay I can sort of understand, since stepdown is about getting 10 every round, but it does seem rather silly if the 10 is ungettable.
